Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification or voice control.
What you can change
Use the accessibility button (the figure icon at the top of every page) to change these settings. They're saved on your device.
- Text size: standard, larger or largest
- Light, dark or your device's colour theme
- High contrast
- Reduce motion, which stops all animation
- Highlight links
- Readable spacing between letters, words and lines
You can also zoom the page up to 400% without content being cut off.
How the site is built
- We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline.
- A "Skip to main content" link is the first thing on every page.
- Text is set in Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed by the Braille Institute for readers with low vision.
- Forms have visible labels, and errors say what went wrong and how to fix it.
- Nothing on the site moves on its own for more than a few seconds, and your device's reduced-motion setting is respected.
Known limitations
- The scan demo on the home page is a visual example. It has a text description, and its brightness and contrast can be changed with labelled sliders and buttons instead of dragging.
- The map on the contact page comes from Google Maps. The address is also written out in full next to it.
