AI Lab: tools we're building for radiologists
WinguRAD doesn't use AI on your studies today. This page is about what we're working on next, and how we'll go about it.
What we're exploring
In development, not yet available
Sorting the urgent ones first
Flagging studies that may show something serious, such as a bleed on a head CT, so they move to the top of the radiologist's list.
A first draft of the report
Suggested wording for the imaging findings, written for the radiologist to check, change and sign. Never sent without them.
Checks before a study is sent
Catching problems at the machine, like a missing view or a mislabelled study, while the patient is still in the room.
The rules we're building by
A radiologist signs every report
AI can suggest. Only a qualified radiologist can finalise a report.
Tested before it reaches you
Each tool is tested on studies like the ones Kenyan facilities take, on Kenyan patients and machines, before anyone relies on it.
Clearly marked
Anything an AI tool suggests is labelled as such in the app, so nobody mistakes it for a radiologist's opinion.
Optional
Facilities and radiologists choose whether to switch each tool on.
Get early access
We're looking for facilities and radiologists to try these tools with us first. Leave your details and we'll get in touch when there's something to test.
