Everything between the scan and the signed report

WinguRAD carries a study from your machine to a radiologist and back to the patient. Here's what it does at each step.

The app at a glance

Every study from your machines, in one list

Studies appear as soon as they're taken. Radiographers assign each one to a radiologist, and everyone can see what's waiting, what's being read and what's done.

A cloud PACS for every study

Straight from the machine
Any machine that sends DICOM sends each study to WinguRAD over an encrypted connection as soon as it's taken.
Works with your existing PACS
WinguRAD can pull studies, including earlier ones for comparison, from a PACS you already run.
Fewer typing errors
Patient and exam details go to the machine from the worklist, so radiographers don't retype them.
Several facilities, one account
Groups and imaging centres with branches see each facility's studies separately, and each user only sees the facilities they're given.

Standards and security of the WinguRAD PACS

Reading in the browser

Nothing to install
Radiologists open studies in a web browser on their own computer. The viewer has the tools they expect: scrolling through series, zoom and pan, brightness and contrast presets, and measurements.
Assigned by a radiographer
A radiographer at the facility assigns each study to a radiologist. A radiologist only ever sees the studies assigned to them.
Reassign when plans change
If a radiologist is unavailable, the study can be given to someone else without losing any work.

Reports your clinicians can act on

The same structure every time
Every report has three parts: the clinical problem, the imaging findings and the recommendations. A report can't be finalised until all three are filled in.
Signed by the radiologist
Radiologists save their signature once. It's added to every report they finalise.
No overwritten work
If two people open the same report, WinguRAD stops one from silently overwriting the other's changes.
Ready to print
Finalised reports download as a PDF for printing, with a QR code that links the patient to their images.

Images for the patient, on their phone

Scan the QR code
The patient, or the doctor they see next, scans the code on the printed report and the images open in a simple phone viewer.
No CDs, no app
Nothing to burn, nothing to install. It works on any smartphone with a camera and a browser.
Only that patient's study
Each link opens one patient's study and nothing else.

Turnaround time
WinguRAD measures every report from the moment the study arrives to the moment it's signed, and shows averages per radiologist and facility.
Volumes
See how many studies arrive each day, so you can plan staff and radiologist time.
Token balance
See how many reports you've paid for and top up with M-Pesa or card when you need more.

Three roles, clear limits

Your administrator invites each person and gives them one role and the facilities they work with.

What each role can do
RoleWhat they can do
RadiographerSees every study from their facility, assigns studies to radiologists, prints reports.
RadiologistSees only studies assigned to them, reads, writes and signs reports.
AdminOversees one or more facilities: studies, reports, turnaround and users. Can't write or change reports.

What you need to start

  1. An imaging machine that can send images

Most digital X-ray, CT, MRI and ultrasound machines can. If you're not sure, send us the make and model.

  2. A computer with a web browser and internet

At the front desk and wherever your radiologists read. A normal broadband or 4G connection works.

  3. Some time with your radiographer

We connect the machine with them, create your users and run a first study through together.
